April Luncheon The State of VISD

The Victoria Independent School District is pleased to announce that our school district intends to have elementary students, grades kindergarten, first grade and middle school, participate in this year's State of the District address to be given at the April Chamber Luncheon. 

This is an exciting opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and achievements, as well as to represent our district in front of the broader community. VISD CHOICE students will showcase STEM skills in a design-build challenge at each table with attendees, and middle school students will help facilitate the activity. 

We believe that it is important for students to be involved in important events such as this, as it provides them a platform to share what they are learning and their academic achievements in VISD. 

We are committed to creating a student-centered educational environment, and this initiative will also empower our students to become active and engaged citizens.
